Hello everyone. It’s time to talk turkey….or at least to eat it. Yes, we are excited to remind you about one of the highlights of our fall season—the Harvest Potluck. Mark your calendars for November 17th, because right after our 10:00 AM service, we will gather for this much-anticipated event.

We will provide the main ingredients for a delightful feast—turkey, drinks, and bread. All we ask is that you bring your favorite salad, side dish, or dessert to share. Think grandma’s secret recipe sausage stuffing, your show-stopping mac and cheese, or even an experimental dish you’ve been wanting to try on friends and family. Don’t forget to jot your name and the dish you plan to bring on the sign-up sheet located on the Growth bulletin board. This helps us ensure there’s plenty to go around. Plus, we don’t want to end up with a mountain of green bean casserole.

And remember, our table is always open to friends and family, so feel free to invite them along. Bring a friend, a neighbor, or even your strange Aunt Selma. Church potlucks are not just about food—they’re about fellowship, laughter, creating memories with those we love, and sometimes a touch of drama. The more, the merrier!

St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Brecksville, Ohio, is known for its warm, inclusive, and welcoming spirit. Our Harvest Potluck is a perfect illustration of our church’s essence: a time to gather, share, and celebrate the abundance of life’s blessings. Whether you’ve been with us for decades or are joining us for the first time, you are part of our family, and we are delighted to have you! We truly believe in fostering a community where everyone feels a sense of belonging and love, and our potluck gatherings are a testament to this mission. So come as you are, and let’s enjoy a wonderful time together in the spirit of gratitude.
