Join us for a festive crafting event at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church on Sunday, December 8th at 4:00 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with friends and family, unleash your inner artist, and create beautiful handmade gifts or unique home décor pieces.
Something for Everyone:
The best part? This crafting event is perfect for people of all ages and skill levels! We have three project options to choose from, and they are all easy enough for anyone.
Mesmerizing Flow Art: Create stunning, one-of-a-kind artwork using vibrant acrylic paints and a special pouring technique. Watch the colors dance and swirl on the canvas for a mesmerizing effect! Shannon Kazee from Mindful Art Creations will lead you through a short imagination exercise and then teach you how to create a beautiful 8×10 piece of artwork.
Warm Glow Mason Jar Candle Holders: Transform ordinary mason jars into beautiful candle holders. Using fragranced Epsom Salt for glitter, these candle holders smell wonderful and give off holiday spirit. This project is perfect for adding a warm and inviting touch to your home or someone else’s during the holidays. For $10 you can make two candles.
Seashell Trinket Dish: Turn beautiful seashells into a decorate trinket dish. Perfect for holding your jewelry at night or any other small item. This craft is easy, but it does require some fine finger motion.
Spread the Holiday Cheer:
These handmade creations make wonderful gifts for loved ones! Show them you care with a thoughtful and personalized present made with love. You can also create beautiful pieces to adorn your own home for the holiday season.
