Sunday’s Blessing of the Animals was everything we hoped it would be—and more. Our sanctuary was filled with barks, meows, chirps, and the kind of happy chaos that reminds us just how wonderfully diverse God’s creation truly is.
A Sanctuary Full of Life
The joy on people’s faces as they brought their beloved companions forward for a blessing was a beautiful reminder of the deep bonds we share with the animals in our lives. These aren’t just pets—they’re family members, companions, and often the ones who teach us the most about unconditional love.
And the Award Goes To…
Our pet awards brought laughter and applause throughout the service. Congratulations to all our winners—the Golden Paw Award holder who’s been blessing their family for years, our energetic Rookie of the Year, and the pets who earned titles like Best Pew Snoozer, Snack Snatcher, and the unforgettable Howl-elujah Award winner who made their presence known!
Gratitude for All God’s Creatures
In the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, we gave thanks for the ways our animal companions enrich our lives. They comfort us when we’re lonely, make us laugh when we need it most, and remind us to be present in each moment. They ask nothing more than our love and care—and in return, they give us theirs completely.
Thank you to everyone who brought their beloved animals to be blessed, and to those who came simply to celebrate the gift of creation with us. Your presence made this service truly special.
