There’s something about gathering around a shared table that brings out the best in us. Maybe it’s the unhurried conversation, the laughter that spills over between servings, or the simple act of breaking bread together. Whatever it is, those moments remind us that we’re not meant to journey through life alone.
On Sunday, November 16, following our 10:00 AM service, we’re hosting our annual Harvest Potluck—and you’re invited to be part of it.
This isn’t a fancy affair. It’s turkey and gravy, favorite family recipes, and the kind of fellowship that makes you glad you came. It’s a chance to connect with people you see every Sunday and maybe meet a few you haven’t yet. And it’s the perfect opportunity to invite someone who’s been curious about St. Matthew’s but hasn’t quite found the right moment to visit.
Here’s what you need to know:
- When: Sunday, November 16, after the 10:00 AM service
- What to bring: Your favorite side dish or dessert
- What we’ll provide: Turkey, rolls, gravy, and drinks
- Who to invite: Anyone! This is an Operation Andrew event—bring friends, neighbors, coworkers, or family members
No signup required. No stress. Just show up with a dish and an open heart.
We’ll also be collecting 2026 Stewardship forms that day. If you haven’t yet had a chance to prayerfully consider your financial commitment for the coming year, this is a gentle reminder to bring your completed form with you.
As we approach this season of thanksgiving, let’s pause to celebrate not just the harvest of the earth, but the harvest of community—the relationships that sustain us, the kindness that carries us through, and the grace that binds us together as fellow travelers.
We hope to see you there.
