Christmas Creativity: Ornament-Making on Dec 14

Every Christmas tree tells a story. The ornaments we hang each year carry memories—some store-bought and shiny, others handmade and slightly crooked, all of them precious.

Sunday, December 14th  from 11:00-11:30 AM (during Sunday School), we’re adding to those collections with a special ornament-making session that’s open to everyone from preschoolers to adults.

Here’s what makes this particular craft time extraordinary: Jenny Miller is leading the effort. She knows how to design projects that work for tiny hands just learning to glue and older kids (or adults) looking for something more intricate. When Jenny sets up a craft station, everyone finds something perfectly suited to their skill level and creativity.

Sunday School meets after our 10:00 AM service, and this week the classroom will transform into a festive workshop with options ranging from simple creations to more detailed designs. Whether your child is three or thirteen, there’s an ornament project waiting for them.

Here’s where you come in:

Jenny needs a few extra pairs of hands to help guide the younger children through their projects—tying ribbon, steadying glue bottles, offering encouragement. If you’re comfortable with kids and crafts (or even just patient with glitter), your presence would be a gift.  Adults are welcome to make ornaments too!

There’s something special about handmade ornaments.  They bring a beauty all their own and save a moment in time to remember forever.

Join us this Sunday, December 14th after the 10:00 service. Come to help, come to create, or come to do both. All ages and skill levels welcome. Jenny will have everything ready—you just bring yourself.
